Every successful retrieval request costs one credit, including a successful response containing no records. The rate is $1 per 1000 requests, or $0.001 per credit. One response may contain up to 100 records, but records are not a separate billing unit. Each additional page and successful repeat counts independently, even if you later exclude its posts from your equipment study.
The minimum paid top-up of $50 buys 50000 credits. There is no subscription or recurring renewal and paid credits do not expire. The minimum applies to a purchase, not a balance you must maintain. Count initial photography samples, date-window pages and successful retries separately. A window split organizes work but does not promise complete coverage or a fixed number of billable requests for your research question.
Conditional trial and account scope
An eligible account may receive 100 trial credits under network-wide anti-abuse controls; allocation is not guaranteed. Check the account panel on the key page before running a sample. The key is shown once immediately after registration, before payment. Registration and receiving a key do not require a paid deposit. The conditional trial is separate from the 50000 paid credits bought with $50.
The account, key and balance belong to redditpostsapi.com rather than all brands in the network. Invalid requests do not debit and upstream failures refund reservations. Losing a response at the client can follow a billable server success; another successful attempt costs another credit. /v1/status is public and uncharged, but its static scope disclosure and HTTP response do not test search or the availability of records.
Invoice payment and verification
To purchase credit, sign in and create an invoice before sending funds. Supported payments are USDT on TRON TRC20 and USDC ERC20 on Ethereum mainnet. Follow the current invoice for the recipient and exact amount, checking the token and network. A separate invoice does not imply a new wallet address. No wrong-network recovery or manual crediting service is supplied; check instructions before transferring.
Paste the payment transaction hash and request verification after sending. Only a confirmed genuine transfer verified by the server adds credit. The invoice expires one hour after creation; follow its transfer instructions. Expiry is not a deadline for clicking Verify or a settlement promise. Provider outages can leave verification pending. No fixed confirmation or crediting time is guaranteed, and pending verification is not a request to send another payment.
